Fallout New Vegas Glitches Fixed.... For PC

With Fallout New Vegas being released just a few days ago some reports of the game having problems have been popping up. The bad news is, that's the state the game was in when Bethesda released it. The good news? They've already upped a patch. And some more bad news: It's for the PC version only.
What's it fix? Bethesda says "quest and scripting issues," which means the engine hiccup remedies are still a-comin'.
Bethesda adds that it's "also working hard to make this update available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game as soon as possible."
Hey, at least they fixed the PS3's digital pre-order bonus issue. "Users should attempt to re-enter the codes to download their bonuses," writes Bethesda, adding that if the '80023156' error continues, you should hold off 24 hours before entering the code again.
If you want to take a stab at remedying "bugs" that might be resolvable without a patch, Geek Montage is compiling unverified "fixes," possibly worth a shot

Halo reach brings xbox back on top

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 hardware climbed amid the launch of Halo: Reach in the latest Japan figures. Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 5,804 units between Sept. 13 to Sept. 19 rank No. 7 in overall sales.
By comparison, the hardware sold 2,915 units the week prior.
Halo: Reach ranked as the No. 4 title for the week selling 44,413 units.
Microsoft in July recorded a $16.04 billion in revenue in Q4.
The Entertainment and Devices division, which includes the Xbox business, held a loss of $172 million. The company shipped 1.5 million Xbox 360 consoles in the period.

Microsoft cited increased Xbox Live royalties and discontinuation of the Kin phone for the quarter loss.
Microsoft in Sept. began sale of the Xbox 360 250GB Halo: Reach Bundle at $399.99.
Microsoft in Nov. will sell the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99.The Xbox 360 4GB hardware SKU with Kinect and Kinect Adventures will sell at $299.99 in Nov.

Blu-ray Outdated Already?

Stephen McGill, the guy in charge of Microsoft Xbox in the UK reportedly stated that Blu-Ray was a passing technology and would be outdated and surpassed by digital downloads.

With this being said I would like to agree especially when considering  Sony themselves are using the digital media along side with the Blu-Ray technology.

Odd World Stranges Wrath May Come out for Xbox 360

Last week the developers of Oddworld, Just Add Water announced a remake for the once exclusive Stranger's Wrath for the PS3. My question is where is the justice for the Xbox, when the game came out it was a hit, and it is sure to be a hit again when made in HD but why aren't they making it for the Xbox? Now we are finally getting rumors of Oddworld coming to the Xbox. Electronic Theater may have found a juicy tidbit of gossip about the developer porting the Xbox 360 version over to the PSN.

Halo Reach Reaches for the Sky!!!

Is it any surprise that Halo Reach has now taken the top in the UK as well as the US?

Game Reactor has decided to make a comparison of Halo Reach and Killzone 2 using similar images side by side.

Halo: Reach was released on September 14th where as Killzone 2 has been around since 2009, which seems sorta unfair for Halo: Reach to be compared to a game that is a year-and-half old. Halo Reach Has a few Problems

Despite being one of the best selling games of the year Halo Reach has reportedly been having a few problems. As some of you may know one of the Xbox Slim models has been having problems playing online in co-op mode, but that isn't where the problems stop. People are also encountering a disk read error in which even though it is fresh out of the packaging the Xbox still cannot read it, and even more some may read it, but it still the game is quite laggy and pixelated.

WHAT!!! A No Swearing Option for GTA V?

Apparently Grand Theft Auto's Rock Star is looking into putting in a no swearing option for their new GTA V, which up until now we have heard very little about. Rock Star is reportedly looking into widening its target audience by about 4 years, which could mean a lot more sales for them. But, my question is if they truly put in a no swearing option would anyone really turn it off, is it not true that even with the option to turn it off and on that people will just have it on anyways.

Dead Rising 1 Prologue

As Many of you know Dead Rising 2 is one of the big releases of the year, and when Capcom talks about buying their developer you know its going to be big. Reportedly Capcom released a press conference relating to their title. The head of capcom noted that in their newest title which by the way is Xbox exclusive and a prologue to the entire story of Dead Rising 2 showed both main characters from Dead Rising 1 and 2.

Microsoft Sells more slim's , but Sony quadrouples thier total sales

The last year Sony and Microsoft have been selling a trimmed down version of their acclaimed systems. First came the Slim PS3 which although smaller in size was no whimp when it came to power, and then it was Microsoft with thier trimmed down version.

Microsoft reported that Xbox 360 Slim sold faster in its first three months on sale than the Playstation console had in the same time period, but we also want to take into consideration that this week Sony also released figures which showed that in total was in a ratio of of 4 to 1 when compared to Microsoft's system. In other words, both slimmed-down consoles were a success, but Microsoft’s had more of an impact in the beginning, but Sony's ten year plan is catching up fast.

Microsoft said on that "Halo: Reach", for the critically acclaimed Xbox 360, pulled in over $200,000,000 in global sales during its first day on sale Now that's a lot of money even more so than any opening release for a video game or movie so far this year, and that's against titles like God of War III and Final Fantasy XIII.
